现在进行时（The Present Continuous Tense）

1.现在进行时态表示现在（说话瞬间）正在进行或发生 的动作。如

　The students are listening to the teacher. 学生们正在听老师讲。

　He is watching TV now. 他正在看电视。

2.现在进行时构成是: be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式。

　现在进行时肯定式结构： 主语+be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式+其他

　Father is reading in the study while Mother is cooking.

　We are cleaning our classroom..

现在进行时否定式结构：主语+be(am/is/are)+not+动词-ing形式+其他.

　He is not sleeping. 　He is reaing on bed.

　Alice is not making a cake for herself.

现在进行时一般疑问句式结构：Be(am/is/are)+主语+动词-ing形式+其他？

　Are they reading or writing?

　Is he washing in the bathroom?

现在进行时特殊疑问句式结构：特殊疑问词+be(am/is/are)+主语+动词-ing+其他？

　What are you doing there?

　Whom are you talking about?

3. 动词现在分词构成:

正常变化是在动词原型后加ing 如:

　read----reading ; 　drink---drinking ; 　eat---eating ; 　listen--- listening

　jump---jumping ; 　wear---wearing ; 　grow---growing ;　collect---collecting

特殊变化:

1) 以e结尾的动词，去掉e再加ing 如:

　write ---writing ; 　make--- making ; 　ride---riding ;　 take---taking

2).重读闭音节（ 只有一个元音字母，而其后跟有一个辅音字母时）要双写结尾的辅音字母再加ing

　sit---sitting ; 　swim---swimming ; 　put--- putting ; 　run--- running
